Waverly Lutz, C.N.M., M.S.N.

Waverly_Lutz_CNM_2015Gentle Beginnings welcomed Waverly to its midwifery practice in the summer of 2015. Waverly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Swarthmore College in 2007. She then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Nursing. Prior to joining Gentle Beginnings, Waverly worked as a registered nurse and childbirth educator with the Southeast Health Center Latina Centering Group in Philadelphia and then as a certified nurse midwife and clinical faculty member with Rowan University’s OBGYN group. While at Rowan, Waverly lectured on the topic of natural childbirth in support of labor without medication at Rowan University’s School of Medicine. Currently, she also serves as a clinical associate working with certified nurse midwife students at the University of Pennsylvania.
